Michael Rasmussen is a former CCW client. He was a Marine KC-130J pilot before facing a crisis of conscience, which CCW helped navigate. His CO story was featured in the NY Times.

After being honorably discharged as a CO in 2017, Michael went on to get his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Fordham Law School. Michael worked at Fordham as an adjunct professor and Senior Advisor to the Dean where where he helped shape strategy, culture, and big-picture initiatives across the school.

Michael remained involved with CCW as a Board member, interim executive director, CO counselor, and now Managing Attorney providing essential legal guidance, assistance, and representation to our clients and staff, as well as spearheading legal initiatives to advance CO rights with a team of volunteer attorneys.
