Please join us in Brooklyn on Memorial Day — Monday, May 25 — for a benefit show to support the Center on Conscience + War and reflect on the incredible achievements of the organization’s storied counseling director, Bill Galvin, as he approaches retirement on May 31.
The event will feature an interview between Bill Galvin and journalist Jasper Craven, whose new book, GOD FORGIVES, BROTHERS DON’T, examines the history of military masculinity and spotlights the noble history of conscientious objectors (Bill is featured in the book).
There will be additional remarks from CCW staff (including new executive director Mike Prysner), peace activists, plus music from Greg Freeman and Ryley Walker.
Please direct any event-related questions to Craven at: jclarkcraven@gmail.com
If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation in honor of Bill’s five decades of service to CO’s, you can do so here!
