For over eight decades, our organization has upheld the rights of conscientious objectors, guiding individuals whose moral convictions conflict with military service. These long-standing efforts reflect our unwavering commitment to justice and peace.

Throughout our history, we’ve helped thousands by providing legal and emotional support to military personnel, assisting with conscientious discharge, and advocating for the right to refuse participation in war. From co-founding the G.I. Rights Hotline to advancing alternative service options, we’ve consistently been a lifeline for those seeking to follow their conscience.

Our advocacy extends beyond immediate military concerns. We have defended the rights of non-violent citizens and raised awareness about the impact of war and conscription on individuals and communities. Our legal and educational work has made a lasting impact, and we are proud to have been a voice for the voiceless.

Yet, our mission continues. As long as individuals are called to fight wars they do not believe in, and as long as military policies demand conscription, we will stand ready to defend those whose conscience calls them to peace. The work is not finished, but together, we will continue to advocate for a world where every person has the right to follow their convictions without fear.
